Kirkland Sailing Club is a great low-cost way to enjoy sailing on the East Side of Lake Washington from our two locations at Homeport Marina and Carillon Point Marina as well as Shilshole Bay Marina on Puget Sound. Members can reserve boats anytime of the week using our online booking system for their personal use with friends and family.

From beginners training with our certified instructors to racing and offshore cruising, we cater to all levels of experience.

KSC "Bijou" Team Wins Snowbird Series

Kirkland Sailing Club Sailors participating in the Shilshole Bay Yacht Club's winter Snowbird Series of 4 weekend events won the overall Class 1 series with four 1st place finishes. Each event brought together KSC members to race the Club's Beneteau First 36.7

"Javelin" on the Podium

KSC sailors Stuart, Caroline, Rich, Justin and Keith drove the Club's J/80 "Javelin" spectacularly around the course for the 2023 Sloop Tavern Freshwater Race, placing 2nd in class and 3rd overall. Well done Team Javelin!!

J/80 New Addition

KSC launched it’s latest addition to the fleet this week.

The J/80 “Javelin” joins “Jouster” and “Reckless” bringing the J/80 fleet to three boats. “Javelin” is currently lying at Carillon Point Marina and will travel out to the Sound for racing events with the J/80 Seattle fleet.

2023 Caribbean Season

KSC just wrapped up the 2023 trips around the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean. "The best vacation I've ever had" . 15 members enjoyed two weeks of cruising and learning, qualifying for both US SAILING Bareboat Cruising and NauticEd SLC International License as part of the experience. We're now in the planning phase for January 2024 as well as the September 2023 Mediterranean excursion to Turkey and the Greek Islands.
